Hi,
Can anyone advise me on how to conduct a speed test on my Samsung Smart TV please
If your smart TV has an internet browser (my Samsung 2018 TV does) you can search for speedtest and go from there. Ne aware that you don't tend to get accurate figures though, my BB is 300meg, TV generally reports anywhere between 120-200 meg sometimes 250meg (connected via 5ghz WiFi within 3 metres of the router, I don't use the TV LAN as its 100meg and generally get 40-80meg). When I do speed tests via laptops, mobiles etc I always get a steady 280-290meg, so I take the results with a pinch of salt.

Hi @wenklaw ,
Many thanks for that. With the ultrafast speeds you have you do not need to worry.
speedof.me appears to give accurate results on my Samsung TV, 57 download compared to 56 on my laptop. Both are connected on 5 GHz.
Hi @pompey1898
If you subscribe to Netflix I find their speed test to be spot on.
Netflix -> Settings -> Get help -> Check your network.
Hi All,
I tried your suggestions but thet all gave impossible results of several hundred Mbps up and down.
