I have the Entertainment TV package (that includes, NOW, etc.) with BT Sport as an add-on. I note in MyBT that I can switch BT Sport off which, with the rugby season ending on Saturday, I'm thinking of doing. However, I wouldn't mind watching the British Lions tour of South Africa so was looking at a one-month NOW Sports membership (offered to me at £33.99 per month on a rolling contract). The Lions matches finish on 7 August; what I was wondering is whether the month of a rolling contract is a calendar month, 30 days or, say 8 July to 7 August?
Also, if I switch off BT Sport over the summer, am I obliged to take another add-on or can I just wait until the rugby season starts?
Thanks in advance

Good evening @mispeltyuoth
Thanks for posting and welcome back! I hope you are keeping well.
The NOW Sport add on has a rolling contract. Therefore, when you call to cancel, there is a 30 day lead time. You will still have access to the content during that time up until the 30 days has expired, after which the content will no longer be available.
Also, you're not obliged to take any other add on and you can just wait until the Rugby starts up again 😀
I hope that answers everything for you?
All the best,
Robbie
Thanks @RobbieMac
A couple of further queries:
Oh, and with regards to the NOW Sky Sport monthly pass, do you know how the month is calculated?
Thanks again

A couple of further queries:
- Do I have to call to cancel or can it be done online - if I have to call, what number do I call please? and
- When I want to restart it, can I do that online?

Thanks for posting back @mispeltyuoth
You should be able to remove the NOW passes online. Log in with your BT ID, choose "your products" and "manage" underneath TV. If you have any problems, you can call us on 0800 800 030. The journey is the same when you want to re-add these down the line.
The 30 day rolling contract for the NOW Sky Sport monthly pass relates to the time it takes to cancel the service. We'll add it on for you so you should be able to view the content shortly after your order. When you request to cancel there is a 30 day lead time as explained in my post above.
Let me know if you have any more questions 🙂
Cheers,
Robbie
Hi @RobbieMac
I marked your response as the 'Accepted Solution' and then re-read it. This may seem a daft question but if I want the Sky Sport monthly pass just for 30 days, do I order it and, as soon as it's 'connected' cancel it again or will it simply run out at the end of the month?
Hi @mispeltyuoth,
You would need to make sure that the renewal was cancelled before the end of your 30 viewing days was up. Ideally, at least 1 full working day before it is due to renew to save any delays in cancelling and another month being charged.
Thanks
