Static IPv4 or IPv6

I'll be moving into a new build with BT FTTP available. Is it possible to get a static IPv4 or IPv6 (I don't mind which)? I can't find reliable information from BT anywhere about this.

That's really disappointing... Well, they lose my business.

Re: Static IPv4 or IPv6

There are very few residential ISPs that offer static IP addresses and finding one that also offers service via FTTP will probably be impossible.

Re: Static IPv4 or IPv6

So backwards for a modern country. In Australia all ISPs I know of do and I currently use Hyperoptic here which also does. Static IPv6 is free by default with Hyperoptic (like it should be).

Good luck in finding another FTTP supplier in your new build.
