I was getting weird lag - slow responsiveness in Fifa 13 and now again in Fifa 14 - I received email from EA regarding my problem with Fifa and they are blaiming BT....

Yeah I know what you mean pal, I'm on totally unlimited Infinity 2 and I am not throttled. I find it hard to believe because FIFA is player vs player connection directly that everytime I play one of us has a connection problem. BT sent me a SamKnows performance monitoring unit and told me that the results showed my line was perfect. EA are the worst company in the world and I know hate is a strong word but I hate the lot of them and wouldn't shed a tear if they went bust. Unfortonutely that will not happen, the best we can all do is contact Watchdog because there really is nothing else left to do. I heard it is so bad for people that they have switched ISP and still have the same problem. Some people even have the same issue after moving house which shows that it is EA. When a lady from EA phoned me I couldn't believe the ignorance, she even said 'as a gamer myself, I just hung up because it really is depressing. I know people will probably think 'It's just one game, go play others' that isn't the point, this is a game many people played throughout their childhoods and have grown up to love and the fact you can't play with mates because of how bad it can get is sad really. Spluff, if you want I can send you the links to the other forums for you to reply back to EA with? I can just copy and paste them here from my email outbox. Let me know. Yeah same mate, I wonder if it is any different on XBox One? I doubt it, even if it was fine on there that's nearly £500 😕

Talked to one person who bought an Xbox One and has this lag/delay issue. He said there is no sign of it on the Xbox one.
Just finished talking on an Xbox live chat, was talking for over an hour. Tried all troubleshooting steps and they gave me the code to do a factory reset of the console, of course none of this made a difference. I was told to contact the game developers (EA) told them that I have done that so many times but of course they said it wasn't their fault and it is at EA's end.
So here is the latest;
BT - They sent me a performance monitoring unit (samknows) and monitored me for 2 weeks or something like that, they found absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever. They say it is EA's fault.
Microsoft - See first paragraph
EA - Contacted Rob Hodson (EA community manager in UK) and he says it is not EA's fault because it is a p2p game and it is not server based so the servers are not at fault and neither is the company, he blamed BT. I sent him links from other ISP forums with the same issues and he said 'lag can occur for different reasons, then went on to say that the Sky forums that I linked him too seems to be traffic congestion. He told me he can try and narrow it down and find out what is wrong if I DM him a contact email. I did so and haven't heard back (this was the 13th November).
One person who runs the FIFAaddiction.com website who have had this problem said they bought the Xbox One and don't have the same problem, maybe because of the dedicated servers on there? Who knows. If only we could all afford the Xbox One. Makes me sick the way EA treat people.
