"If there is a significant difference between your download and upload speeds it may be worth contacting your Internet Service Provider regarding this" If that is not an excuse I do not know what is don't they know the upload speed is lower than a download speed as it is an asymmetrical service not a symmetrical one

Indeed you are right spluff...trace route.jpg

Even if they have changed the route it hasn't made a difference!

Thats going to depend on your package assuming you are on the totally unimited it shouldn't be a problem. However if this is a P2P game the traceroutes being posted are pointless as its not hosted on EAs servers. All it takes is your oponent to be on a slow link or something else on the network such as P2P hogging the bandwidth and you will get a laggy game. If they are hosting they wont have a problem !

Re: Still bad lag in Fifa 14 - response from EA

I'm on totally unlimited and yeah it is a p2p game but it can't be the other persons connection because it happens in EVERY match I play no matter what online game mode. I have played over 100 matches on ultimate team to test out the gameplay after doing specific troubleshooting steps and I kid you not every single one of them were the same.

Re: Still bad lag in Fifa 14 - response from EA

So I said before I contacted Rob Hodson the community manager of EA in the UK on Twitter, he told me to DM him a contact email to see what the problem was, I gave him my email and he didn't bother replying to the DM or even emailing me. Just noticed he unfollowed me on Twitter too, absolutely disgraceful.

Re: Still bad lag in Fifa 14 - response from EA

Well............

I now have Fifa 14 for PS4......

This is suffering same problems!!!!!!!!

I also have had my BT Infinity upgraded to the totally unlimited and ordered the HH5.......

I am absolutely sick to the teeth of this.......

When I played the laggy game I will ask the other person and they say there game is smooth as.........  This was usually to people on Virgin Cable...........

Please BT sort this out!

Re: Still bad lag in Fifa 14 - response from EA

I also have this problem, I have contacted both parties like many others but BT tell me to talk to EA and EA tell me to talk to my ISP. Really is so annoying, with the amount of people who have this problem you would think someone would be able to do something..
