Mine says this....http://gyazo.com/c520539e3d3ed44719092132e81b6102
Yours is fine, as it matches your public IP address, but its always worth others checking, if they have routing issues.
You can check your public IP address at the free website http://www.whatismyip.com/
I want someone at BT to look at my trace route, the packet loss is concerning, I wish my traffic could be rerouted or something 😞 Me and so many others have suffered for years
Just received another response from EA....
seems like they are escalating it and are also in contact with BT (hmmm I doubt it!) - I dont get disconnections (dont know why they mention that / P2P i know about and i play against people who i know have a good connection so this rules this out!)
"Thank you for contacting EA Support and informing us of your issue. I do apologize for the experiences you have had in the game that has affected your gameplay and the length of time you have been waiting for a response. My name is Daryl and I am a Specialist here at EA.
When playing online matches in FIFA, you are playing Peer to Peer rather than playing on our own servers. This can mean that even if you have the best possible connectivity yourself, disconnections can occur, simply because your opponent may not. If your opponent loses connection, (especially if the opponent is hosting the match) it can cause a loss of connection for yourself, thus nullifying the results before they can be recorded on our systems.
If there is a significant difference between your download and upload speeds it may be worth contacting your Internet Service Provider regarding this. I understand your frustration as you have been back and forth between BT and ourselves. Ultimately the end goal is to have you playing without these connection issues however as I mentioned above sometimes it depends on the user you are also connecting to. For now I will be escalating your case to our studio team to see if there is any further information they can provide on your issue. If they are unable to find anything further I am sorry to say but we would have to direct you back to BT again.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused, if there is anything further we can assist with, please do let us know and we will endeavor to assist you to the best of our abilities."
I really dont believe them please tell them about my problems too and I have issue with Fifa 13 and Fifa 14 on the PS3 - in ultiamate team, seasons and online friendlies.
No doubt we would have to pay extra for it *sigh*. I have already told the executive customer relations lady many people suffer from this across all ISP's. Anyone got the Xbox One and know if the issue still persists?
I linked the EA representative to this forum (mainly because it is the latest one) so use it to talk about the problem and how long you have had it etc. I guess!
one thing ive noticed in the latest tracert is that they dont go through above.net anymore and is routed through paris?
