Thats going to depend on your package assuming you are on the totally unimited it shouldn't be a problem. However if this is a P2P game the traceroutes being posted are pointless as its not hosted on EAs servers. All it takes is your oponent to be on a slow link or something else on the network such as P2P hogging the bandwidth and you will get a laggy game. If they are hosting they wont have a problem !

the lag occurs with people i know who had good connections aswell as randoms....
I'm on totally unlimited and yeah it is a p2p game but it can't be the other persons connection because it happens in EVERY match I play no matter what online game mode. I have played over 100 matches on ultimate team to test out the gameplay after doing specific troubleshooting steps and I kid you not every single one of them were the same.
So I said before I contacted Rob Hodson the community manager of EA in the UK on Twitter, he told me to DM him a contact email to see what the problem was, I gave him my email and he didn't bother replying to the DM or even emailing me. Just noticed he unfollowed me on Twitter too, absolutely disgraceful.

I also have had my BT Infinity upgraded to the totally unlimited and ordered the HH5.......
I am absolutely sick to the teeth of this.......
When I played the laggy game I will ask the other person and they say there game is smooth as......... This was usually to people on Virgin Cable...........
Please BT sort this out!
I also have this problem, I have contacted both parties like many others but BT tell me to talk to EA and EA tell me to talk to my ISP. Really is so annoying, with the amount of people who have this problem you would think someone would be able to do something..
