Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

Spoiler
Well I cancelled switching to Vodafone to try and mitigate the issues.

Paddy initially apologised and remove the new contract I was being put in as it was an error from the same call handler that ceased the line and started this mess.

i followed the official process to switch provider so I went direct to Vodafone after 72 hours after cancelling and they initiated the switchover, I left it 5 days and I heard nothing off BT in regards to switching.

BT refused the switchover cancelling the request with Vodafone, we was given no reason from BT and at this point Paddy has refused to contact me since even though he claimed on the last call we had from him he would contact me in 72 hours to update me on the switchover but never did.

I rang Vodafone direct again to try and switchover again, they put the order through I got the equipment next day and have been given a month of free broadband from Vodafone if and when I can actually switch to them for BT mistake. It has now been 48 hours and BT are claiming they have still received nothing. It’s gone past a joke just let me leave!

Short of having a second line installed to get around this joke of a system BT are using so I can cease my original line just to get away from them - I have no idea what to do 😫 I have contacted complaints who’ve done little to nothing to resolve this playing we’ve not done anything and it’s either my fault or Vodafone’s. Ugh I wish I never joined BT, switching from my previous provider to BT was a breeze

Hi @Opie149,

Thank you for posting. I can see that it's my colleague @RobbieMac that has been dealing with your case. He is in the office and is due to follow up with you later on today.

Thanks

Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

Vodafone are still unable to take control from

the line from you and you still haven’t responded to the switchover request so they can’t take over the line, why is this being such a problem still?

I’ve followed everything officially twice now you need to fix this it’s gone past awful now! 4 weeks of trying to switch with BT not accepting the switchover request

Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

Vodafone are saying there is already an order on our line, which is impossible due to your account order page showing no orders being placed and BT denying they are receiving a switchover request.

Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

Still the same issue above and no response from Paddy or BT. Paddy or his team member have now missed two booked calls... very poor service.

Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

Hi @Opie149

Thanks for posting back.

It's me that you've been chatting with a few times.  I had this set to follow up with you again tomorrow.

I've had a quick look and we still haven't received any notification about the move.  Have you placed an order with your chosen provider?

Cheers,

Robbie

Re: Stop lying to me and release my line!

You never contacted me again? This is getting pathetic.

i have switched provider now who have taken over the broadband, phone and the line completely and you are still telling me that I am keeping the phone with you even though Vodafone have taken it over I think Vodafone were right and this is a scam you pull to try and keep customer with you due to ‘technical issues outside your control and you’ll have to cancel your switchover’ which we did three times already!! you guys need to sort out your rubbish system as I have already tried multiple times and each time YOU BT messed up again, again and again not Vodafone.

Absolutly has enough of this rubbish!

I have reported all these issues, recorded phone calls and letters, emails and the Openreach Wholesale screenshots to Ofcom so they can sort you out as multiple customers have had this ridiculousness with you!

Hi @Opie149

Thanks for taking the time to chat with me again.

I'm sorry for the confusion with the letter you received.  As confirmed, everything has been closed off from here so you can rest assured 😊

All the best,

Robbie
