with 49.4 Mbps you should not have problems streaming  are all your machines conencted by ethernet to hub - not powerline adapters

Re: Streaming issues on Unlimited Broadband with BT Infinity 1

Thanks. I have powerline adapters in operation but not on the machines in question which are all connected directly to the hub.

I've tried clearing flash storage and using different browsers.

Wifi - not sure as hardly use it except to stream local video on NAS, e.g. via VLC, which usually works reasonably as long as files are not too large.

How many powerline adapters, and how are they connected?

Try disconnecting them from the home hub, and see if it help with the streaming on the other directly connected devices.

I will do this. But they've been operating on my network for ages and the problems with streaming are recent.... (I appreciate they could still be causing a problem but feels less likely)

If they are returning a lot of errors back to the home hub Ethernet port that the master powerline adapter is connected to, then it will have an adverse effect on all the other ports.
