Re: IP Profile

if you connect wires back as you describe apart from the wire on terminal 3 which should not be reconnected as that is the bellwire and can cause noise problems with your conenction.  you should also detach it in all other sockets.

if you can now maintain a stable connection 24/7 for 3/5 days then profile will recover to the correct value for your conenction speed

Re: IP Profile

Ok great. So can I detach the bell wire now or will this cause problems if I dont detach it from the other sockets at the same time?

Re: IP Profile

errors are expected just when you get toooo many then either line resets or throughput is reduced - so just check crc/hec errors and error seconds - fec errors are ok

Re: IP Profile

stats look ok and profile now correct for conenction speed.  I would leave the filtered faceplate as errors are ok at present - it would not eliminate them with a new faceplate
