Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

Hi @Nweddup and thanks for posting.

If you can give us the information requested by @pippincp I'm sure we'll be able to help. Running the further diagnostics part of the wholesale speed test store the results on the servers so we can check them, though each test deletes the previous results. if you run the test and it confirms a problem don't run any further diagnostics following that unless requested by ourselves.

Cheers

David

Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

I have just locked myself out of the wholesale test by running 3 lol First result showed 6.6mbps upload, the second 8.8 and the final 3.3. I will run the run the tracert's while im waiting for the 10 min lockout.

Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

you do not need to run test 3 just the further diagnostics and the tracert requested earlier

Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

I know John, sorry i usualy do test everything 3 times myself to get an idea of average. Have just sent and logged one which is probably what id class as the norm reading. Over the last week the test has often shown less than 1 and occasionaly 0 which then failed to run further diagnostics. Runnign the test 3 times initialy actualy highlighted the fact something was different to me. Before the problem started ever test was within a for .1's of the previouse, currently it can be anything from 0-17 or so.

Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

The visualroute here had been running for around 5 mins so its showing more of an average over time packet loss.

Re: Sudden drop in Infinity 2 upload speed and stability.

Thanks John. Bt called today and apparntly must send a "specialist speed engineer" to fix the problem on friday. I was told exactly the same about the last guy who came on Tuesday but he pretty much shook his head and said he's wasting his time its a BT problem not openreach :-S

Is there anything else i can do to help from my end?
