As you can see, you're no longer on an EO line, you're connected to cabinet 2.

The cabinet has the fibre and power connected to it, it's going through the commissioning process where it's all tested etc, and hopefully should be ready to take orders anytime in the coming weeks.

If you can find cabinet 2 (it's usually painted in white on the cabinet) and it's fibre twin (or it may be an all in one cabinet) keep an eye on it. When the lock on the AIO or fibre twin is changed to a high security silver lock, the cabinet will be active within a couple of days.

That's the best news you could of given me! I've waited since 2012 for fibre to come here!

The new cab is just on it own it's much closer than the exchange.

There's quite a bit of work involved in installing the new cabinet. The speed increase will likely coincide with the cables being routed through the cab and possibly rerouted on a short route as I mentioned earlier.

Just keep a look out for the magic silver lock 🙂
