Sudden reduction in speed after months of stability
I am on Fibre with Halo 1 (FTTC), and after months of stabiliy with speed of 20/72 (max 22/74.5), my speed suddenly reduced on Friday night to:
Data rate: 9.997 Mbps / 54.999 Mbps Maximum data rate: 21.969 Mbps / 63.895 Mbps
The Noise Margin has gone from: 7.4/3.3 to 13.2 / 8.0
What should I do?

Re: Sudden reduction in speed after months of stability
have you made any changes to your broadband package recently?
check MYBT and see if broadband package shown as Fibre 1 or 2 as the speeds you now quote are the max speeds for fibre 1

Re: Sudden reduction in speed after months of stability
No changes for some time.
MyBT has always showed slower speeds than I've had for months. I was given a free speed upgrade well over a year ago, and it has been very stable even after the latest Hub2 upgrade which upset others.
