Welcome to this user forum.
Do you have dial tone on your phone?
The phone line has to be working before broadband can be activated.
I don't know I haven't got a landline phone to plug in to check.
Then get hold of a cheap wired phone (less than £10), and see if the line is working.
The dial 17070, you will get an announcement telling you your phone number.
Check this against the phone number that BT have allocated you, to make sure its the same.
If you get no dial tone, and BT have said the line should be working, then you need to make a few checks within your house. These cannot be done without a phone.
Thanks, I'll go and buy one and do that and see what happens.
If you could please update this thread with the result, so forum members can provide more help if required. Thanks.
Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.
What does your master phone socket look like?
