Re: Suposed Upgrade to infinity option2??

Have you tried rebooting your kit mate? Both the OR modem and the hub 3?

Daveym,

Welcome to the "unhappy camper" club,

Have you spotted that nearly all the threads on here are about the lack of speed increase since the supposed upgrade?

Unfortunately tim1964, there will always be kinks in rolling out a new service, i'm sure B.T are well aware of it and looking into it.

Re: Suposed Upgrade to infinity option2??

"KInks"??

I thought that's what the testing before general release was supposed to be for.

BT whould have said "Sign up for Infinity 2 and IF your speeds go up to an acceptable level THEN we will start you on a new contract"

False advertising much?

Maybe some consumer group needs to run with this or maybe one of BT's competitors.

Imagine if Sky said "renew your contract with us for another year to receive double the number of channels for no extra cost " and then you find you actually get less channels than you did before  !!

They would never get away with saying "we ESTIMATE that you will get more channels ......"

Customer relations nightmare.

Re: Suposed Upgrade to infinity option2??

There are some things than can be added to your service that are definite. Unfortunately when it comes to fibre optics or just an ordinary copper line there are more variables involved.

They are estimates because they have to be as every line is different, and they are only up to speeds as well.

If B.T were aware of this issue, i'm pretty sure they wouldn't roll it out. Sometimes pre testing doesn't compare to a full scale upgrade.
