Suspended or deleted email account - Still on my address list and cannot re-use.

Hi All,

In my manage my email section I have two addresses thet have been suspended / deleted. It is not completely clear from the below message.

"Your email was last used . This mailbox is suspended and will be permanently deleted on 15/06/2018 . unless you reactivate it in next days."

I'm ok that I have lost the emails, but i would like to re-use the address. However, when I try to create a new email with the same address it says it is already taken. I just dont think it has been fully deleted and is stuck in limbo.

As it says, if you wish to keep the address you need to reactivate it. If you don't it will be deleted permanently and will not be available for re-use ever.

Just noticed the reactivate by date, I'm afraid you are too late. Presumably you have tried to reactivate it.

You can not re-use a deleted email address. BT do not re-issue them. The message saying that it is already taken is just a way of saying you can't have it.
