Hello
I recently changed from BT to EE
I use Micosoft Outlook as my mail manager
My BT incoming and outgoing Mail Server details were mail.binternet.com
EE inform me my outgoing Mail Server is now pop.orangehome.co.uk
They also tell me my incoming Mail Server should be advised to me by BT
Is this the same as the original, mail.btinternet.com ?
Thanks

What email address are you trying to collect mail from, an EE one or a btinternet.com one? For btinternet addresses there is no need to change the incoming server, i.e mail.btinternet.com. I doubt your OUTGOING server will be pop.orangehome.co.uk, I suspect it will be more likely to be smtp.orangehome.co.uk.
Its my BT mail account only
Thanks
I presume you have taken Premium Mail to keep your email address, in which case there is no need to change anything in Outlook. All should work as before, Incoming and Outgoing.
Premium Mail ?
Is that the one the ask you to pay for ?
Err, yes. Otherwise you will lose your btinternet email address if you are no longer with BT.
Yes, see link about what will happen to your BT email address when you leave BT.
BT wanted me to pay to keep my BT e-mail address?
Sorry !
No chance !
I'll use the web based version
Thanks
What do you mean "I'll keep the web based version".
It doesn't matter how you access your @btinternet.com email address, if you are no longer a BT customer it will stop so be prepared to lose it.
BT are buying EE so you will go full circle.
