Switch From ADSL_G to ADSL 2+

Go to solution

Hello Everyone

I have moved to a new area recently and well our new download speed is fine (pretty close to what it was in the old house) but the upload is quite a bit slower which makes most online games unplayable and falling below there minumum upload speed.

After speaking on bt live chat and on the phone they said there are no better plans for me and dont know if there will be in the future.

After some research and looking at the adsl checker it says adsl 2+ is available for our phone number, which could make online gaming more playable with even a slight improvement in upload speed if it would be possible to be upgraded from our current type of ADSL_G to ADSL 2+

My router stats:

Current Rate(kbps)4485376
Max Rate(kbps)4405300
SNR Margin(dB)228
Line Attenuation(dB)3049
Errors(pkts)6798253

adsl site:

The dsl modulation is on auto sync up, ADSL_G.dmt Annex A/L/M.

That's all it says about modulation
I'm using a tp link archer vr900
