I have a Sony setup with Sky Q and Apple TV passing through a HT-ZF9 for Atmos etc. Recently I added a T4000 box connected directly to a KD-55XE9305. Now I am getting all sorts of problems with Bravia Sync reporting communication errors between the TV and soundbar. I factory reset both the TV and soundbar but the situation didn't improve.
I decided to disconnect the T4000 and low and behold all the problems with Bravia Sync disappeared. My conclusion is there must be a problem with the T4000 C.E.C. or HDMI control. I have searched but cannot find how to disable C.E.C. on the T4000. Am I missing something? I have ordered a Lindsey CEC Less Adapter just in case.
