TP-LINK TD-W9980 connection help

Hello,

My HomeHub3 recently failed and I've bought this to try and replace it for Infinity 2. Problem is I can't get it working...

All of the lights are on as they should be, but the set-up wizard always fails citing WAN issues.

I've tried PPPoA and PPPoE (it defaulted to PPPoA), does it matter?

Tried Auto_Auth and CHAP.

Under Network > WAN Settings IP/Mask, Gateway and DNS are all 0.0.0.0 and Status is DSL Disabled.

Under the main Status page though everything seems fine. It says Line Status: Connected with an Upstream and Downstream listed etc.

Any help? Thanks.

Are you plugging it directly into the DSL socket that the Openreach modem was plugged into?

Sorry, I got it working immediately after posting this.

For some reason the Quick Setup from the CD was not actually applying any of the settings for some reason.  When I ran the Quick Setup from the router's interface it worked fine.
