Taking over new landlord contract & adding TV package?

Hi,

I'm about to move into a new property and the landlord has had a bt line in with broadband for over 2 years so far. I will most likely be in the property for between 12-13 months and would like to add a TV package. Can i take over his contract and add TV or willl i be unable to because i won't be in for 18 months?

Many thanks,

R

Re: Taking over new landlord contract & adding TV package?

BT don't do transfer of contracts so you will need to start a new 18 month contract but if you terminate the contract in 12/13 months you will face cancellation charges

you could get the landlord to add the tv package to his broadband and you could pay him for broadband and tv
