I'm not expecting Infinity anytime soon in my corner of Staffordshire but have been looking at how its installed in the home. Plenty of information on the BT website about the DSL side with OpenReach Modem and HH3 etc; that all looks straightforward.
But can anyone with Infinity tell me where is the BT landline telephone wiring connected? Is there a connection on the back of the new 'OpenReach' Infinity faceplate to connect standard 'voice' cabling to existing telephone sockets - as from the back of the standard NTE5 faceplate?
Yes, no problem.. the existing NTE5 front plate is still used. It is removed, the Infinity adapter is plugged into the test socket and the front plate re-attached to the front of the adapter. So no change to existing PSTN wiring.
