Telephone line fault fixed - slow Broadband - adsl

Go to solution

Hi, (hope this is in the right place)

My Telephone line got fixed today from a fault that was on it for a long time (corroded on the pole).

However my Broadband connection has stayed the same (slow) so i am wondering if i have been placed in a "branded profile" or not.

The Hub has not been connected long so i understand that it may take 3/5 days for the line to fully sync again?

any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Image 1 - Noise margin before the fix was 5db - 5db

Image 4 - Another speed test (also as stated in the previous pic before the fix the 8mb connection speed was 3mb)

Thanks for any help.

Looks like adslmax connection so not banded profile but profile is low due to previous line problems so just stay connected 24/7 for 3/5 days maybe sooner and profile should recover automatically

yes you just need to maintain a stable connection for the next 3/5 days and your IP Profile will rise automatically
