Unfortunately nothing has changed, every I phone or live chat BT its a different story constantly. I was meant to get a call by a 'level 3 team' today, however I did not get anything.
I phoned BT at around 14:00 and the lady I spoke to said that the engineer stated that I am unable to get Infinity and that she will be downgrading to Standard Broadband, I told her that it is fine.
Once everything was done and the call ended, I had checked on my BT App and saw there was a new order open, I checked the order and again the address was wrong (I asked last week that the address be changed) - I phoned again as soon as I saw this error and asked that the address be changed, call ended.
I went to check the order again and it says that "Order amended Your broadband order has been cancelled" , then I got a email saying "We've cancelled your broadband order"
The Order was Closed and then I contacted BT on Live Chat again, only to be told that the address they have is still the INCORRECT address, he checked the address to see if it corresponds to RoyalMail and said that Openreach and BT both don't correspond to the RoyalMail address'.
Ordered the package on the 31st of Jan, Said activation day was on the 7th of Feb (It's already the 16th of Feb as of this reply) - I have already been charged £89.98 for no service. 3 Engineers Later, 3 Modems later, countless calls and live chats later - No internet
save the frustration and high blood pressure and wait for mod to get back to you at present takes about 3 days after submitting form for it to reach top of inbox
@ZomBieZA Sorry about the delay replying, we'll be in touch today.
The mods will also sort that out for you.
Hi @ZomBieZA Good news to hear your internet is working. I've checked and the order is still open with BT Wholesale . As the order completion date is the 27th I'll give you a call on the 28th as agreed. I can add the BTTV when the broadband order closes and I will sort out the billing then also.
Cheers
John
Hi @ZomBieZA Thanks for taking my call earlier.
As you could not get infinity and now have copper broadband I am having trouble adding the BTTV service. Please will you to complete a speed test via www.speedtest.btwholesale.com using an Ethernet cable – once you have completed the speed test, please select the further diagnostic button to send your results over via our server and post back to let me know when you have completed this.
Cheers
John
I have tried doing the test multiple times, sometimes I get 14mb download speed, then sometimes it goes over 40mb. Though I did comeplete it
