Terrestrial HD channels, online????

Could I get the terrestrial HD channels delivered by BT via infinity to my current youview box or do I need the old style BT Vision+ box?
The reason I ask is that my terrestrial TV signal has been suffering interference from a new 4G mobile network and the adapter to stop this blocks all the HD channels.

The terrestrial channels are still delivered via the aerial no natter which box you have

Because the BT Vision+ box didn't come with a HD tuner the Terestrial HD channels were provided over Infinity multicast.

You are correct, the Freeview/DTT channeld are delivered over the broadband for the BT Vision Box. So in theory, BT could do the same for the Youvew Box.
I suppose it depends if the computer says yes.

So my simple question is: If I buy a BTVision+ box can I get BBC1&2HD, ITVHD and C4HD delivered via my Infinity2 ?

If you want to view Sky Sports 5 then BT will have to supply a Vision box.

If you currently have a BT TV subscription on a BT Youview box then I don't think the BT TV on BT Vision specific services would be available to you even if you plugged in a BT Vision box instead. I get the impression the account is set up for either BT Vision or BT Youview. Someone might know better though.

On a BT TV on BT Vision set up the 'PSB HD' entitlement is what is required. A BT TV order confirmation on this platform can include 'Free-to-air HD channels' listed as an add-on and this relates to the 'PSB HD' entitlement.

Thanks for all your answers. I'll not bother to buy the BTVision+ box if the service is no longer supported. 😕
I hope that one day, all our TV channels will be IPTV in the near future.
