Your cabinet 49 looks like it's at either at the build or connecting stage of the FTTC process (where a FTTC DSLAM cabinet is connected to the existing cabinet to provide a Fibre to the Cabinet, FTTC, service)

 

These works should't have a direct impact on the ADSL service, and to benefit from the FTTC superfast broadband service once it's live you will need to upgrade.

 

You can try contacting Digital Scotland to see where your cabinet is at regarding being upgraded to provide a FTTC service via https://www.scotlandsuperfast.com/contact/

they have replaced the existing pcp with much larger cab which looks like a combined pcp/dslam - it's only 5min walk from meSmiley Wink

from memory the new cab is on the left as you go round roundabout into estate
