Terrible service and lied to

Had a new line installed on 20th January . Engineer said there was a problem and would be fixed 21st and left quickly. Still doesn't work and remote line fault test says it will take another 5 days. I think I'll cancel and go to sky, I had a line that just needed switching on terrible service

Regardless of who you change to the work will still be done by Openreach and the fault waiting time is still the same 3 working days from reporting the fault you will also go to the back of Openreach's waiting list if you change providers

Openreach will surely be hived off, now that the Tories have raised this issue (Grant Shapps' statement 23/1/2016) then users will really have to pay for their repairs, and will the service improve? I think not, look at all the other 'privatised' utilities, they all now how to rip the UK public off, but not how to provide quality and excellence. I'm an optimist, so I hope I'm wrong about improved service.
