The System Is Busy

This fault is UK wide. I line in Bangor Co Down and get this message when dialling landlines. BT help said it could take 24 hrs to fix!

I checked the fault pages when this started and couldn't find anything. Are they not up to date or am I looking in the wrong place?

Crikey! That won't do much for their ratings!

There's nothing on BTs website (which is bad) but loads of people are reporting it on downdetector.co.uk

I've had it all day too and had to use my BT chargecard from a Payphone while I was out. I can get incoming calls from landlines but I cannot call them. Also there seems to be no information about this anywhere on EE and BT's site

It's a poor show from both companies that many hours into this problem neither are reporting it on their website. Wonder what Ofcom would have to say about the levels of communication....

Well nothing, Ofcom is not able to intervene as its not blocking calls to emergency services.

Anyway in the meantime, you can use the following:

BT Payphones
BT chargecard
BT smart talk

Was this effecting just BT Mobile customers or was effecting all EE and it's MVNO customers?
