So after BT completely messed up my installation for BT fibre, I'm now stuck with ADSL on a waiting list for fibre.
But, I've noticed this message on my line on dslchecker.bt.com:
"There is currently a Broadband cease pending or in progress against this line. This cease is due to complete by 31st May 2018. This will not stop you ordering Broadband from a new supplier, but it will delay the provision of the new Broadband service."
I've called 3 times and tweeted various times to @BTCare about this and nothing has been done.
How can I get help?
EDIT: I spelt the BT Twitter help handle incorrectly. I did contact the correct one though!

Check out this Twitter thread.
I find it weird that @BTHelp very rarely answer simple questions on Twitter.
1. Is the waiting list a BT thing?
2. Why do Openreach claim there is no such thing as a waiting list and that it's first come, first served?
3. If the waiting list is a BT thing then how can BT not know what my position is in the queue?
4. Will I be automatically upgraded when I hit the front of the queue? How will I be notified?
Questions not covered in the Twitter thread:
5. How long (typically) is the queue? How long is the wait time (typically)?
The fact that my thread here has no replies and that the @BTHelp account isn't that helpful is really disheartening. 😞
@Anonymous
1. Is the waiting list a BT thing? - Possibly, Probably not.
2. Why do Openreach claim there is no such thing as a waiting list and that it's first come, first served? Because it is exactly that.
3. If the waiting list is a BT thing then how can BT not know what my position is in the queue? See above posts..
4. Will I be automatically upgraded when I hit the front of the queue? How will I be notified? I doubt it, unless you have a "in progress" order, which I don't think you do.
Questions not covered in the Twitter thread:
5. How long (typically) is the queue? How long is the wait time (typically) - It's until another space (port) becomes available or the cabinet is updraded to provide more ports.

2. Why do Openreach claim there is no such thing as a waiting list and that it's first come, first served? Because it is exactly that. Openreach are not involved with the waiting list it is BT Wholesale that have the list
