Third party modem and router

Hello,

I have FTTC connection (VSDL), I had the HH4 and was getting speeds around 14mbs as I am over a mile away from the cabinet. I have just installed a vigor 130 modem which I have put into bridge mode and ASUS gaming router. My download speeds have dropped to around 7mb? I checked the sync speed on the modem and it was 7000kb I believe why is this?

Can you post stats from the vigor  modem

Struggling to get back on the modem as i put the modem in bridge mode and the default 192.168.1 isn’t working now

Then just factory reset the modem
