Re: This is no good!

I would suggest that you contact the BT Care Team, especially if you are seeing this speed on a wired connection, and you have tried other computers.

If you would like to contact one of the UK based BT Care Team who moderate this forum, they should be able to help you.

They can be contacted using this link BT Care Team

They normally respond by phone or e-mail, within three working days, however you should get an immediate confirmation, with a tracking number.

Re: This is no good!

Hi keith - I have sent them a message as you suggest. What do you think can be done by them to help?

They can reset the ip profile, which should sort out your speed problem. They will then monitor your circuit to see if its fixed the problem. If not, they will carry on with it until it is fixed, as they take personal ownership of your problem

They look on this thread to make sure that everything has been tried, which it has.

Keep a note of your tracking number.

Please update this thread with any progress, so people can see what is going on. Thanks

Re: This is no good!

your connection speed has dropped dramatically due to a large increase in noise margin just leave it to the Care team they will get all the needed work carried out
