To switching off every night at same time!

Got a new BT  tv box several weeks ago. Since then, every night, the tv has switched off at the same time (12.05) saying no signal. We are not watching through the bt box when this happens.

If we then put bt box on ,we get channels fine. go back to ordinary tv,still saying no signal. It eventually rights itself.

Sorry, not very technical but there must be an easy answer to this!

Help!

Re: To switching off every night at same time!

If have your aerial lead going to the BT box then another aerial lead from BT box taking the signal to your tv, then over night the BT if turned off will scan for updates this may cause your loss of signal on the tv.
Mind you I'm just guessing that this maybe happening, but someone else will arrive soon with a more accurate answer for you.

Re: To switching off every night at same time!

The box is probably dropping into "sleep" mode. You can check by selecting Youview>Settings>Device Management>Standby Mode via your remote. You can then adjust the time the box drops into sleep mode to suit your lifestyle.

Re: To switching off every night at same time!

You need to look at the RF Pass Thru setting. I think this is off by default.
