Token expired messages on app - driving me mad - will be leaving BT internet email asap!

Hi all

I have had to phone BT twice  to complain about the "token expired" messages that randomly get sent, and which mean I have to login again.  I thought for a few days over the weekend that it had been fixed, but no - it is back today.  And with a vengeance - on some of the worst days it meant logging back in around 8-10 times daily.

The system is slow, antiquated - "authenticating", "reading message details" and so on.

Each time I phoned to complain, the person I spoke to said that it is only on the app, so it is not a permanent problem.  I took that to mean that as it doesn't happen via other platforms, I have to put up with it!

Is it going to be fixed?  I've already started migrating away to another (much better) email system...

Just awful.

So why on earth are you using it instead of a proper mail app. There is absolutely no requirement whatsoever to use the BT mail app, Blue mail and Aquamail are far superior offerings.

I am self-employed and it has been the way my customers have contacted me for years, with no problems until 2020.

Thanks for your advice - I have already explained I am changing service providers.  I wanted to raise it here because I have tried doing so with BT directly - no advice or explanation, no concern shown and the problem persists!

So why change providers instead of simply using a different app?
