Too many emails in my inbox

How do I delete them in one quick move ? Will take me months otherwise !

Tick the box in the menu bar at the top left of the list of emails . This will select all the emails on the page then you can delete them by selecting "delete". You may have to do this a few times.

I should have said, I use an iPad and there isn't a box I can tick ! Or , I can't see one !!
