Tp Link Archer D2 + BT Sports

Hi all,

Has anyone had any success at getting BT Sports to work on an Archer D2? It's advertised on the BT store as a replacement router but can't seem to get YouView channels to work.

I have IGMP Proxy enabled and enabled IPTV for the port with the bt box connected but nothing?

Any help?

Cheers

I don't think IGMP Proxy should be enabled, you need IGMP snooping which I believe is achieved (as you have done) by enabling IPTV for the connected port.

Yes just checked IGMP Snooping is enabled under the iptv group. YouView has the correct ip address in the iptv group (192 168.2.101). BT Sports still isn't having jg it hmmmm. Do I need to port Forward anything on NAT?

Port forwarding is not required. I assume you are using the 192.168.2.xxx subnet on the TP Link rather than 192.168.1.xxx

The standard network is using 192.168.0.xx
Iptv network (with just the bt box attached to port 1 of the router) is 192.168.2.xx

The VPI/VCI under IPTV Settings is 8/81 if I try and change these to 0/38 it tells me invalid value when I try and save. The IPTV group is a bridge to the main PPPOA group

Did you give it that address or did the TP Link allocate it by DHCP? I would have thought the box would need to be on the 192.168.0.xx subnet.

Tp link box has assigned it that subnet mate. It's set to dhcp I can't set it as static I dint think only option I get is DHCP or relay dhcp (which requests an ip from an external source such as another router on the wan)
