Re: Trojan detected but will not repair

Scrap McAfee, its **bleep**!!

Use microsoft security essentials or avg free and also download malwarebytes anti-malware and do a scan and it will speed things up and also clean it up! 🙂

Re: Trojan detected but will not repair

Hi

since it gives you the name of the trojan try and do a search for and manually delete file. Try the link below it is a stand alone checker from Kaspersky the best home virus software available. All you do is run it and clean, it will remove itsslf once finished and then reboot, hopefully this will help.

Re: Trojan detected but will not repair

The files have mysteriously disappeared.

Is Kapersrsky better than McAfee? If so I might try it as it's provided free by Barclays Bank.
