I decided to move my telephone aaand broadband services back to BT in the hope that I would soon be in a BT Infinity region.
I duly placed my order on the 16th March and was told I would be transfered on teh 25th March
On the 25th March was still with my old service provider so contacted BT and was told there was a problem at the exchange
On the 16th March receieved new order details stating my line would be live on the 30th March
On the 30th March my phone and broadband was duly disconnected from my old service provider but no service from BT.
I have reported this to BT who now says there is a fault at the exchange and it may take a week to sort out.
There are all sorts of reasons I can not be without a service that I will not go into here, but another thing is I was told I would have to change my telephone number - a minor inconvenience.
All this leads me to think BT is not the best service provider to be with - does anyone else have any tales of woe when coming back to BT and what did you have to do to get them sorted out.
