Trying to access my bt account on my phone but it does not recognise the bt password

My phone has been linked to my bt account for many years and received the emails but suddenly it has stopped and says it does not recognise the bt account password. This has not changed recently. Any ideas what I can do? I am concerned that if I delete the account I will lose all of my contact numbers etc

Hi @Terasiceage welcome to the community and thanks for posting, have you tried a password reset on the www.bt.com/email website? You should then be able to update it in your phone's email settings.
