This question has been asked before but I'm not having any success. I have a BT email account (...@btinternet.com) and I want to move it from one active broadband account to another active broadband account (both in my name). The account I want to move it to says it is "ceased" and does not seem to have the option to add the account. Can anyone help please?
Have you seen this link?
Are both your BT Broadband accounts set up with a BTID and allow access to your account via MyBT and does the one you want to move the email account to have at least one email account already set up?
If not you will need to set one up using the "manage email" option in the MyBT of that BT Broadband account.
Many thanks for your prompt reply. Both accounts are set up under MyBT. The account I'm trying to move the email account to has no email address set up. I have used the "manage email" option for that account but there is no "create new email" option. Under the "manage email" it gives the BTID and just above that it says "Ceased account" (the "Ceased" is in red). Not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @JohnnyWood and thanks for posting.
Sorry you're having problems moving the email. Do you have separate BTIDs for the accounts?
Cheers
David
I access both accounts from a single sign in to MyBT. The BTID for both accounts looks like it is the same email address. Do I need separate BTIDs? And if so, how do I do that?
I'll need to take a closer look at this to understand what the issue might be @JohnnyWood. I'll drop you a private message so you can send over the details.
Cheers
David
