We had an Email from BT a few days ago saying our package called Fibre Essential including Unlimited Weekend Calls has ended and what do we want to do? We pay £31-33/month plus we pay an extra £15-26/month for unlimited minutes on the telephone day and night. We also have caller display but cannot see this on the bill.
We actually pay £52-00/month and sometimes we end with so much credit BT stops us paying for 3 months. The broadband is unlimited.
The various options seem very complex to us. Any advice would be most welcome. Some package are a lot more money but Fibre 1 and Fibre 2 packages are slightly cheaper. BT Openreach have been working in our local roads for many weeks so don't know if this affects us and what we could do?
WE MUST have on the telephone unlimited minutes day or night and we must have caller display.
As for the broadband...our TV has Wi-Fi but we only watch Freeview TV (from an aerial) and use the Wi-Fi to catch-up to watch BBC, ITV, Ch 4 and Ch 5 programmes we miss. We use the computer to look at websites sometimes. We occasionally watch YouTube on the TV.
We do not download films, use games consoles, do not have Sky, Netflix etc etc. as we are pensioners and need life simple. Our mobile phones are not with BT and we sometimes use the Wi-Fi to look at Google news on them.
Thank you.
