Looking at the full specification.
So it does appear to be dual function, so yes, it should work in that case.

Use the WAN connection on the router to connect the router to the Openreach modem. Go into the router settings and make a PPPOE connection from the it to the modem.
The username is firstname.lastname@example.org and any password will do.
you must use the openreach modem, you will basically be removing the HH3 and replacing it with the netgear D6300
Hi I have a D6300 and it does connect to Infinity as described here using the WAN port, however it will not allow you to receive BT Sport! I thought that I had cracked it with this thread by going through a HH3, however I cannot define the gateway and DNS for the HH3 in the D6300 settings and assume that this is blocking my progress. Does anyone have a work around at all? I also have a Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H cable router which I thought I would be able to use but I cannot even get Infinity with that so sadly it is looking like yet another router will be required!
Any assistance would be appreciated.
P.S. If I do crack the HH3 issue do you think that using the HH5 would replace both the modem and HH3?
