Tv not picking up channels
Just brought a BT box. I've brought what I assume to be the correct adapter aerial plug (female to coax plug), and I've screwed it tightly in the wall and the box but our TV just can't pick up any channels. I've tried it before without the BT box and straight into TV and didn't work. Its a brand new cable so I doubt its a fault with the cable. We have an aerial on the roof and I cant see any issues with cables down the wall. What am I doing wrong? 😞 thank you
We have a wall connecter like this
Google Click Mode TV/Satellite Socket 1 Gang Satellite
I have a cable like this
Google SAT antenna cable Adapter cable 2.5 meters 2x shielded F-connector
with the standard aerial on the other side and plugged into bt box
Not letting me post pictures unfortunately.

Re: Tv not picking up channels
You need to delete those links, as they are not permitted on this forum.
Are you a BT Broadband customer?
The box will not work on a satellite connection, it needs an external or loft, TV aerial.
I suspect that your TV aerial has probably been disconnected, or the cable is faulty, or there is another socket somewhere.
That is also why your TV will not work.
