Two Different Phone Numbers

Go to solution

It's not a serious problem but,

When I phone someone my number ends in 5913 on their handset, but to phone me you have to dial 5914, 5914 is ment to be my actual number but when people try to phone me back on 5913 and the number isn't recognised...

If your phone is with BT dial 17070. It will speak back your number. If it gives ...5913 but your number is ...5914 then you need to contact BT. If it gives your correct number then I am stuck!!

Hi

Do you have a home hub with BT Broadband Talk, as it could be the case that you have a another phone number allocated to your hub phone.

Do you have a phone plugged into a ADSL filter which in turn is plugged into a phone socket or does your phone plug into the rear of your homehub.

Sorry for so many questions.
