Yeah I'm surprised that this appears to be more a problem amongst people than I thought. Wish I just left the password alone now!

Presumably you must have a premium mail account, does that not have an account number?
Not sure about anyone-else having this issue but it seems that my issue has now bee resolved and I can now access my emails again.
As a pointer this was not by contacting the rather useless premium mail contact number but re-iterating the whole story (as I don't have prem mail account as outlined at the beginning of all this!).
Not sure if this was something that naturally rectified itself or whether a technician looked at it but it seems to work now and the status quo has been restored 🙂
