After successfully logging onto MyBT, I am unable to access my bill. I get the message "Service Unavailable - The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try later". It has been doing this since I recieved an e-mail syaing that my bill was now available on MyBT on Sunday 5 Sep.
Hi @MrGrumpy02,
I'm sorry to see that the bill isn't showing up for you. Can you try and access your MyBT using a different browser or our app? If you still have issues, let me know as there could be an issue with your online billing that we need to look into.
Thanks
DanielS
Thanks to DanielS for the advice. I have tried using a different browser (I don't have an app) but get the same result - i.e. I can log onto MyBT but as soon as I try to open up features (such as my bills) I get the same message "Service unavailable...." What really confuses/perplexes me is that I can log into MyBT but get no further.
Try using browsers Edge, Chrome or Opera, avoid Firefox and Brave. If you are using Firefox there is a workaround that seems to work but tedious.
Firstly thanks to all those who have made suggestions - it's gratifying to know that you're not alone! After a week I still cannot reach my bills from my desktop. I tried logging on to MyBT with my laptop and got straight in and straight into my bills (what I have been trying to do for a week). After logging off with my laptop I tried my desk top again but back to square one ("Serive unavailable...."). What is going on here?
Which operating system (Windows 10, IOS etc) is your desktop & laptop?
Whatever the poblem is it's been there for well over a month at it happens on mobiles and desktops.
Windows 10
PS - both my laptop and desk top use Windows 10
I'm using the latest Firefox with Windows 7 and get the error "Oops! An error has occurred. Please try again later."
What's missing from the page is the latest bill summary, recent 3 bills, package details, etc.
It all works OK using the latest Chrome browser. Maybe Firefox's extra privacy features are getting in the way. Or maybe BT's web developers only test using Chromium based browsers.
If you just want your latest bill from Firefox go to "Manage your bills and payments" towards the bottom of the page and select "Download this bill as a PDF".
Suggest you try chrome, egde or internet explorer, I had problem with Firefox and Brave browsers, there is a work around with Firefox that I am using and the billing is working O.K. but is a little tedious. I think you will find all personel web pages when logged into BT.com will not load in Firefox not just the Billings webpage.
