Problem originally reported beginning April. Following some exchange of emails and change of browser, clearing cookies etc appeared to have been solved and was shown as such.
But no, it has returned with a vengeance. Original problem - unable to log on to emails, could do so on I-Pad but not PC. Could log to My BT and then access emails. After "solution" problem has returned and now worsened in that I cannot even get on to My BT. Enter password (which has been changed successfully) and get a "check username, passwords etc." and the URL shows "strongauth.securebt.com..."
All other log ons to other sites on my PC work fine, the only problem is with BT.
Any advice gratefully received.

Please cancel this problem.. Friend suggested I disconnect my VPN and try. Works OK now. Need to reassess the value of VPN.
Once you have managed to log on without the VPN you can reactivate the VPN and it should still work.
The problem is apparently due to blacklisted IP addresses that the VPN's are using.
