Unable to order FTTP but other houses can

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any help.

FTTP was installed into our road about 9 months ago. Recently I tried to order Infinity 2 and was told it was not available at my address. The BT DSL checker shows some weird results. On our small estate, the houses are numbered 1-21. Putting in all the numbers gives the following:

1 - 6: Only 2Mb/s ADSL available

7: FTTP 330Mb/s. This property has FTTP installed.

8 - 9: Only 2Mb/s ADSL available

10: FTTP

11 - 16: Only 2Mb/s ADSL available

17: FTTP

18-21: Only 2Mb/s ADSL available

I live at number 20. I've spoken to the FTTH team and used the Openreach form on several occasions but nobody has got back to me despite promises. I can't understand why 3 places in totally different parts of the estate can get it and we can't. Number 7 is just over the road.

If anyone can help it would be great, it's driving me slightly mad!

Thanks,

Dan

Re: Unable to order FTTP but other houses can

Thanks Robbie for your message last Monday. I was told by someone on the FTTP sales line on Friday that there was a call back scheduled for today, but this has not happened, presumably because Openreach have not bothered to respond.

Forgive me for thinking nothing is happening.

Having come from a house with 80/20 Infinity 2, this 1.5Mb/s DSL which loses sync for hours at a time is really starting to grate.

I'd be greatful for an update.

Thanks,

Dan

Re: Unable to order FTTP but other houses can

Am I on my own with this now? It's been weeks and weeks and as far as I know, NOTHING has happened whatsoever. I spoke with an Openreach engineer who was working down the road and he told me that FTTP was definately available, there was no technical reason why it couldn't be installed and he could do it in 2 hours.

Can someone please take ownership of this and fix the database???!

Re: Unable to order FTTP but other houses can

Hi Dan, let me know how you get on and I'll do the same as soon as I hear back from Openreach survey, which I expect to tell me I can get it.
A physical survey would seem logical for you?
