I've had BT Sport since August now and am getting rather fed up that I still can't record BT Sport on my Youview box. No one at BT seems to have the faintest idea when this is going to be possible. Thought someone on this forum might have some insight.
What's more irritating is that friends who have BT Sport on their Virgin package can record the channels, and also if they have the BT Digibox they can record the channels. So why are new customers with Youview being penalised?
Well it's good to see that BT have finally updated their product pages to say "YouView customers can't currently record, rewind or pause Extra Channels or channel bolt ons."
Rather than the previous "within two weeks" or "autumn" statements.
its not hard,
i'll start it off.. "this issue will be resolved by XXth November 2013, we appoligise for the poor communication and lack of clarity...."
Did they specify which year this would be rectified by?
I seldom watch "live" sport and tend to time shift and watch without knowing the result hopefully. Now i can't do that. Furthermore; the sport doesn't make it to the BTVision catch up sport page for days.
Like the rest of BT Vision, BT Sport is almost pointless unless you watch it when it is on.
I was wondering can I cancel my agreement with BT, if this issue will not be fixed by the end of Autumn ?
It is a bit frustrating not to have a chance to record favourite programmes.
I wish I would not have sign with BT Sport but who would expect that you will not be able to record TV channels in an era when people can buy a trip to the moon.
