As of yesterday around 3.30pm my broadband has dropped from a normal speed of arounf 7.1mb/s to around 0.2mb/s...welcome to dial up speeds!!
I contacted technical support and the first gentleman told me that my line was fine, but that the exchange had dropped to a max of 1mb/s service and they would get this looked into. Upon calling today I was informed that this was not the case!! and the previous person had not even escalated this.
I am now running at arounf 0.6mb/s which is completely useless!! and when you try to explain to the halfwits at your technical help that it's NOT just me or my line but my neighbours and others in the area as well (some 10 miles away) they are not listening!!
I now have an BT Openreach engineer coming out on the 18th!! a week!!

Seriously mate I dont know how BT dare to call it a Technical SUPPORT line.
You phone a third world country, and expect them to take interest in your broadband, when all you can hear in the back ground is Indians speaking their language, and the operator your speaking to struggles with the basics, such as getting your phone number right, and even your first name.
