I'm new to the community so apologies if this query has come up before, but the only advice I've found online relates to the (defunct) BT Yahoo. I want to know how to ungroup emails in BT Mail which have been grouped together in conversations. I've looked at Settings and I can't find anything to let me do this (the nearest is a tick box about attaching the original email to a reply). These conversations are driving me mad.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Log onto your email and go to the menu bar and locate "Change View". Click on it and a drop down list will appear. Scroll down to "Conversation View" and untick it.
Many thanks.
If you click once on "conversation view" it changes the present "view" to the alternate "view". ie it turns it on or off.
For information, if you are in "Conversation View" you can still print the email if you go to the "down" arrow that is revealed at the top right hand side of the email when it is opened. This reveals the "more" button that has the print option.
Thank you yes I knew that but when in Conversation view the option to Print is not highlighted that I have discovered
It is not available if you use the "more" button in the menu bar but it is available when you use the down arrow below the "change view" at the right hand side.
Hi
I've clicked once on Conversation view as per the suggestion but it doesn't seem to change anything. There is no further drop down menu when I click on conversation view. Frustratingly, the 'grouping' is only happening with some emails from one sender (and only started happening in the last few days) and I need to keep every one from them separate. The ones it has decided to group do have a common word in the subject matter, but then so do most of the emails between this particular person and I .
It may be a stupid question, but I was assuming once I'd changed the view, all emails would slot back to their original place in my Inbox?
I hope that makes sense. Any help appreciated.
Clicking once on the "conversation" button should turn it off if it is turned on and vice versa if it is on.
Once ungrouped the emails that were in the "conversation" should show as individual emails in your list. If they are not showing, have you tried a refresh of the inbox by clicking on the circle refresh button at the top of the list.
